Wetzlar is about 67km to North from Frankfurt. I have visited this city twice. It's a nice small town not maybe as colourful as many other towns in Germany, Whenever I think about this town, black greyish tones come in my mind. It sorts of lack colours but it's not a bad thing, it just makes it look more mysterious.
I visited there with my little adorable companion Musa. During my stay, I took a walk with Musa everyday in the evening through the old town to see it from a different perspective. Below you can see my perspective in form post cards from Wetzlar and its outskirts. We drank some lemonades, ate waffles even got one for free and ate some baked goodies from the bakeries. I found one almond cookie calls Florentine in the bakeries that I ate for the first time and it was quite nice.
If you would like to take a walk with me in the town, I have also made a video. You can watch it here.
What I genuinely loved roaming in the city were old couples who would pass a smile to little Musa. It felt warm and welcoming. Inhabitants spoke hardly any English and the shop owners won't accept electronic cards, so it's a good idea to carry some cash with you.
I took some shots around the town and some a little outside Wetzlar. I hope you do enjoy the mystic cold tones of this town.
