Although turkish style pizza called lahmacun is not a modified form of a traditional pizza but because of similar shape, people may think it is pizza but it is really more close to pakistani/indian style bread with minced meat bakes in an oven called tandoor. Let's make it at home together!
Servings 4 Total Time 3 hrs Calories 374 kca (detail at the end)

Ingredients
250 gm minced beef
1/2 cup red pepper
1/2 cup yellow pepper
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
1/2 bunch coriander
1,5 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp crushed red chili
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp coriander
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 small tomato
For the dough
2 cups all purpose flour
1 yeast packet
3/4 lukewarm water
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp oregano (optional)
Toppings (optional)
Onion
Lemon juice
any fresh salad
boiled green peas (like I used)
Method
Add salt, oregano and oil in the flour and stir mix.
In a separate bowl, add water, yeast and sugar. Wait until it doubles in size with the bubbles on top.
Then knead well the dough with yeast water. When it comes together make a ball and put it in a bowl greased with oil.
Cover it with a damp cloth.
Let it sit for about 2 hours at room temperature or until it doubles in size.
Meanwhile, chop all the vegetables and process them in a food processor.
In another bowl, mix chopped vegetables, spices, tomato sauce, oil and minced garlic with the minced meat. Keep it the mixture in refrigerator until the dough is ready.
Pre heat the oven at 250 C.
Lightly flour the surface. Make about 4-5 balls. Roll out the ball on the surface. Keep it quite thin like chapati.
Then spread some of the mixture on the top, and bake in the oven for 5-6 minutes.
Squeeze a fresh lime on top of that and put any kind of salad you would like and Enjoy!
Notes
The flat bread is quite thin like a pakistani/indian chapati but if you want to make it a bit thicker then it's up to you.
